Direlands: Extraction
A co-op fantasy extraction-RPG built around one tense question: what can you carry home?
Every run sends you out from the Hub into hostile country with a goal to explore. Step into the Forsaken Vale and pick your way across undead-haunted graveyard, a decaying town guarded by skeletons and a Knight that doesn't stay down easily. Push deeper into Dire Isle and you'll find a ruined goblin temple, a stronghold the Undead King has made his own, a valley overrun with Razorclaws and their Queen, and a mountaintop spire where the Viren are doing something they shouldn't. Survive, and your loot comes home to the vault. Die, and it stays where you fell.
A magic system you can build a character around
Direlands inherits its arcane bones from a particular era of online RPG design: four schools of magic — each with their own role and feel. A tiered spell ladder I through V, a primary nine-slot spellbar and a secondary nine-slot bar for Ctrl-modifier casts, and a filterable picker so the spells you actually use stay one click away as your unlocked catalog grows.
Loot that's worth the trip
Equipment slots, item rarities (Common through Unique), stat affixes, named Unique traits — every drop composed at runtime, every Unique carrying a trait that bends a system rule. Items are yours forever, unless you die. The legendary you pulled in your second run can still be on you in your fortieth.
Between runs you live in the Hub
A vault system to store your findings and tweak your character's gear. Spec your level-up points across Strength, Agility, and Magic with a level 50 cap. Bring up to three friends through Steam — everyone shares the loot pool and the portal timer; get out together or get left in the dirt. Sessions fit into thirty minutes or stretch across a whole afternoon. The loot you bring home today is yours.
